Welcome to my new venture, The Contrary Audubon. Currently there are 2 Volumes, and a nearly completed Volume 3. The books consist of illustrations plus a one page "solidly scientific" description of each bird. The bird you are viewing here is the Metal Mouth Ex Libris. She is a commonly rare bird found in Volume 1 of the Contrary Audubon. Metal Mouth reads books on oxymoronica and crop circles. God forbid, she often suffers bad hair days....Want to know more? Ask the author about The Contrary Audubon and its collection of extraordinary birds.

This is the Turn Key Kick-in-the-butt. He lives in Volume 2 of The Contrary Audubon. Just wind him up and stick him with a to-do list to deliver. The Turn Key with unique tail feather is a member of the procrastinator police, so no need to worry about getting things done...Ask the author about this bird and The Contrary Audubon.

Here we have a prime example of the Crazyjack junkus yardii. [Note this is really my brother]. The bird frequently appears incognito disguised as a huge rabbit or a leprechaun. Right now he's in Volume 1 of the Contrary Audubon, but you just never know where he'll turn up to fix something. Beware of mighty sharp wit and nails in the yard...Oh, geez, runs with scissors too. If you want to know more, please contact the author.

Ok, now here's a rather Busy Bird...see more information about the author on the last page, or simply contact the author. Please Note: The copyright for these images belongs to the illustrator-author (that would be me). Please respect intellectual property rights. Images on this web site are a representation of the original drawings, however due to scanning capabilities, the originals are a little bit different in color, size and detail. You know what I mean. Watch for my latest bird, the Bunny Duster allergica exotica, drawn yesterday, as a matter of fact...
